Rena Mirecka, founding member of Grotowski's Teatr Laboratorium, will lead a 5-day intensive work session at Double Edge Theatre in May. This is a singular opportunity to work with one of the most extraordinary theatre artists of our time.

Participants join the company for three weeks of rigorous physical training, vocal, objects, improvisation, site-specific work, ensemble collaboration, dramaturgy, design, music.

A one-day workshop which introduces our 30-year-old training methodology. The day consists of a two-hour training session led by the ensemble, plus dinner with the ensemble, and a tour of our center. The Open Training is an ideal opportunity to get a sense of what we do and how we work. All levels – even the simply curious– welcome to attend.

Participants live and work alongside the company for three months at our Farm Center. The program focuses on immersion and creating original work both individually and as part of an ensemble.
