The Double Edge ensemble is made up of multi-disciplined artists from Argentina, England, Bulgaria, and the U.S., from ages 26 to 70, who have worked together for up to thirty years. We spend two years creating each performance, and upwards of five more years developing them on tour to sites like the American Repertory Theater, the Kennedy Center, La MaMa, and many others.
Since the founding of the theatre in 1982 by Artistic Director Stacy Klein, Double Edge has undergone many transformations. At present, the theatre is engaged in its fourth cycle of work, the Chagall Cycle, and is developing its first touring performance The Grand Parade.
In addition to its company and touring performances, Double Edge has created nine indoor/outdoor
Summer Spectacle performances,
