Timothy Francis O'Brien
Scholarship Fund

In honor of the memory of Timothy Francis O’Brien, this Fund will provide scholarships for emerging artists to take part in Double Edge Theatre’s training programs, thus giving exceptional artists and cultural leaders from underserved backgrounds a life-changing opportunity. 

Timothy was an amazing man who touched so many. He was a true renaissance man: an exceptional artist as well as a very accomplished businessman. He received his BFA in Drama from Stanford University and financially supported theaters whenever he could. Timothy and Monika's dream was to create a community combining healing, theatre, meditation and organic farming. They were very inspired by their visit with Double Edge and the Farm Center, as the company came very close to what they had envisioned. That's why Monika decided to establish a fund in Timothy's name.

Double Edge Theatre’s Greening Project is a four-part energy plan designed to significantly reduce the theatre’s environmental footprint using a variety of energy conservation solutions. With this project, Double Edge has the chance to be in the forefront of the growth of eco-conscious industry in the state and serve as a model in its community for a shift to green energy.
