Again and again, they can and do."

“What draws the audience is the visceral power of Double Edge’s images, the striking spectacles it stages, and the organic connections between the performances and their settings and between the performers and themselves.”
Louise Kennedy, Boston Globe August 1, 2004

“By using expansive and naturally beautiful topography, Klein and her collaborators create indelible images that would be impossible to stage in a single theatre space…the spectacular overload is thrilling.”

Writing on Ex-CHANGE 2004
Since 2002, Double Edge has presented a major community performance each summer, and the size and enthusiasm of our audiences has multiplied. These performances, known as “the indoor/outdoor traveling performance spectacle” series, take place both in and out of doors, using the hills, fields, barns, woods and pond of our 105-acre Farm Center. Fusing myth and story with daring circus arts and live original music, these cultural events are suitable for all ages and bring thousands of audiences from across the region and the US. Past Spectacles include The Saragossa Manuscripts (2002), Don Quixote (2003), Master and Margarita (2004), The Three Musketeers (2006), The Magician of Avalon (2007), The Illustrious Return of Don Quixote (2008), The Arabian Nights (2009), The Firebird (2010) and The Odyssey (2011).
